• Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a powerful practice that can help across all areas of your life. In essence, it’s about being present in the here and now, not dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Mindfulness is taking the time to be, rather than to do, and most definitely finding the time to be kind to yourself.

Practicing mindfulness benefits your overall state of mind, just as exercise is good for physical health. You may be familiar with meditation, which is just one mindful practice, and is a good example of teaching yourself to get off life’s merry-go-round now and then, and simply be.

It takes time to learn to be mindful. Different techniques are more effective for each of us, and I can work with you to find what you are most comfortable with and what you can realistically achieve. Mindfulness allows your brain to be more aware in times of stress, and this has a ripple effect on how we lead our lives.

The benefits of mindfulness are hard to ignore. Being happier, able to focus and concentrate more, greater confidence and self-esteem, improved sleep, better able to manage anxiety and depression as well as lowering blood pressure and resting heart rate. Wellbeing Coaching and Mindfulness Programme

Coaching and mindfulness are highly individual. By understanding your own needs, I can create a bespoke wellbeing programme tailored to your needs that will focus on you reaching your best. The combination of coaching and mindfulness will help identify your purpose and include advice on building a healthier lifestyle through wellbeing. If you are not certain of your purpose in life and want to feel more grounded in the everyday, this programme is perfect.

Your programme might include a structure showing you how to communicate more effectively, identify the important elements in your life, and highlight your strengths and weaknesses and how to work with them, all while being more mindful of yourself throughout the process.

  • "A massive thank you for the course. It’s been brilliant; the best mindfulness course I have done. My short temper seems to have disappeared I don’t overreact and panic now. If I feel any kind of stress I walk away and take a mindful moment to sort myself out. You’ve given me more than my GP for my menopause too. I sleep better can calm a hot flush – it really does help me!"

  • "Claire was incredibly good at asking me questions that challenged me and helped me develop my thought process. It was incredibly helpful to discuss how my disability affects me and what techniques I can employ in my day-to-day job."

    Fran

  • "Claire made me feel at ease and it was easy to open up to her… I have more peace within myself and understand my values and who I want to become. With this clarity I am much more conscious of my state of mind and I am able to stay focused and more present. The coaching has led me to be more purposeful in seeking a new job - something I have needed to do for a while - the wheels are now in motion!"

    Caroline

  • "I feel more positive and confident in my day job. In my personal life I’ve been able to step back a bit and get out of my head about things, using a similar approach of questioning what it actually is that’s making me feel a certain emotion in a moment, and what I can do about that. Alongside other basic mindfulness techniques, like 5 deep breaths, this has made a big difference to my mood and reactions to unexpected news/events. "

    Becca

  • "Claire made me feel really comfortable very quickly, the way she listened and responded felt non-judgmental but I still trusted that she would ask challenging questions where necessary. She was able to push me to think for myself and reach my own conclusions. This was a really useful as a confidence boost for me to show me that I was able to, with some guidance, reach solutions."
